Who is MVP Shows?

Steve Masi, Robert Valenti, and James Valenti founded Masi-Valenti Productions and Shows in 2007. The three have been close friends since the early 1980's and on many occasions have worked together professionally. During the spring & summer of 2006, while working on a national promotional tour together, Steve and Robert seriously discussed starting their own production and event services and management company. They soon after approached James with the idea, and MVP Shows was born.

Steve Masi has been a touring and entertainment professional since the late 1980's, holding just about every job in the business including equipment technician, tour manager, production manager and promoter's representative. Starting his career on the competitive and hectic New York City rock circuit, Steve has worked with all types of clients including; rock, rap and country artists, corporate marketing, promotional tours and private events. Steve's professional attitude and work ethic has allowed him to amass a very impressive resume including such acts as Sheryl Crow, Mos Def and The Offspring.

Robert Valenti has been working in the entertainment production industry since the mid 1980's and has held many positions including tour manager, production manager, lighting designer, lighting technician, audio technician and technical director. Robert's broad understanding and experience in the entertainment production industry has permitted him to work with countless artists and events over the last 20 years.

James Valenti has been in the entertainment and event business since 1985 working local and touring shows, festivals, corporate, private and promotional events. With over 20 years of experience as a business owner, James is the "business" behind the business, overseeing all accounting, budgeting and managing of the day-to-day operations of MVP Shows.

Robert and James are business partners outside of MVP Shows, as well as brothers. In 1991, the two founded a successful theatrical lighting production, rental and supply company that they still operate today. The business partners pride themselves on customer service, always going the extra mile for their clients. It is this quality, along with their years of entertainment business experience, which they bring to MVP Shows.

What does MVP Shows do?
Our professional, competent and efficient project management team is capable of providing all production logistics including; advance work, sound and lighting reinforcement, venue specifics, branding and marketing, show settlement, transportation, freight, labor, staffing, payroll and travel arrangements.
MVP Shows will also handle all talent related aspects of your event; including security, credentials, hospitality, special appearances and meet & greets.
